First Friday with ViRAGO

ViRAGO, a central NJ based group will be new on stage at the WaterWheel Cafe for 'First Friday' on March 2.  Having performed locally and internationally, ViRAGO, is currently recording their second CD, Love Over Fear. Their debut recording, Here Be Dragons, is available on CD Baby and iTunes.

With Amy Schindler on guitar and vocals and Maire Tashjian on percussion and vocals, ViRAGO creates an interesting mix of original songs including Latin, rock and blues.  “ViRAGO is a fierce, female guitar and percussion duo...giving you all they've got... it is some of the best raw, kick-ass music I've heard and seen in ages," says music critic Beth Boylan.
Sponsored by The Upper Delaware GLBT Center (UDGLBT), 'First Friday' is held at the WaterWheel Cafe, Bakery and Bar in Milford PA the first Friday of each month.  "It's a time and place for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community to get together in a welcoming venue to enjoy some good music and fun," say Patty Tomaszewski, Executive Director of UDGLBT.

'First Friday' begins at 8PM. There is a $5 cover charge. For more information on ViRAGO go to http://www.viragomusic.com/.
